Currently: Waiting for a bio mom to select us to parent Baby G.
August 2011: Fingerprints done.
July 2011: Sent in Fingerprint Renewal Request.
March 2011: A horrific and disastrous earthquake and tsunami hit the northern part of Japan. Prayers. Prayers. Prayer.
December 2010: Advised the program is closed to new applicants and to anticipate the 12-18 month wait.
September 2010: Photo album and letter approval.
September 2010: Baby care basics class at our local hospital.
August 2010: Met with our agency and got the run-through of how it will all work once we get the call.
July 2010: Letter to birth mother is done and we scheduled our date to meet with the agency.
June 2010: USCIS Fingerprints done, I-171H received, dossier completed.
April 2010: Home study completed!
March 2010: Home study started.
January 2010: We spent awhile praying - God calls us to adopt. We send in our initial application to adopt our baby from Japan.
Mid January 2009: We decide to start trying for a baby.
April 2008: We come off of birth control (trying but not trying). ;)
September 2006: We are married!!
December 2005: S. proposes on the Goodyear Blimp!
August 2002: We meet & start dating.
